Kamchatka fish inspectors caught almost 80 poachers in a week
Rosrybolovstvo employees revealed 78 violations in the reservoirs of the region in a week, reported Kamchatka.Today in the SVTU of the FAR.
During the raids, 31 fishing gear, one vehicle and 88 kg of illegally extracted aquatic biological resources were seized from poachers.
Violators were fined 133.7 thousand rubles, and 164.3 thousand rubles were collected, taking into account previous fines.
One piece of material has been submitted to the police for making a decision on initiating a criminal case.
Most of the offenses were detected in Yelizovsky district.
The regional department of Rosrybolovstvo noted that 11 operational groups are catching poachers in the region’s water bodies, and two stationary posts have been set up.
