Kamchatka’s wild reindeer winter pastures viewed from the air

In Kamchatka, during the replacement of groups of state inspectors at the border cordons of the Kronotsky Nature Reserve, pastures of wild reindeer were inspected, reported Kamchatka.Today in the Kronotsky Nature Reserve.
Thanks to an environmental project to preserve Kamchatka’s wild reindeer population, the security service received new winter uniforms. Generators and batteries for power systems have also been purchased in order to ensure the functioning of cordons and uninterrupted communication.
During the transfer of state inspectors to the protected area, a flyby of the projected protection zone of the Kronotsky Reserve was carried out from a height.
“No violations were detected during the air patrol, which is important for the safety of Kamchatka’s only large herd of wild reindeer listed in the Red Book of Russia,” said Vsevolod Yakovlev, acting Director of the Kronotsky State Nature Reserve.
