An auction for the distribution of fishing plots failed in Kamchatka

Today, the first electronic auction was held to secure four fishing sites in the Kamchatka Territory. The application for participation was received only for one of the submitted lots.

According to the portal Fishnews.ru Only one company, the Tymlat Fish Processing Plant, has applied to participate in the auction for securing the fishing area in the Karaginsky Bay. In this case, the auction is declared invalid, and the contract is concluded with the sole participant at the starting price of more than 272.6 million rubles.

No applications have been received for three more fishing sites – two in the Tigil district and one in the Sobolevsky district. The auction was also declared invalid here. For these lots, they asked for more than 322 and a half million rubles for the site in the Sobolevsky district and more than 117.448 million rubles for each of the sites in the Tigil district. The collection of applications for participation in the electronic auction for four more RLS in the Kamchatka Territory is now open.

It should be recalled that fishing areas, including for salmon fishing, are now secured according to new principles – at auctions, and not at tenders, as before. The innovation was consolidated by the law “On Amendments to the Federal Law “On Fisheries and Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources”, which entered into force in September last year.
