Until May 11, 2025, everyone will be able to participate in the ecological project “Save the Salmon”. Through a special service on the public services portal, you can select the type and number of young Pacific salmon to grow and make your financial contribution. After processing the applications, the specialists of the fish hatcheries will begin to grow fry.
“The project is being implemented by the Northeastern Branch of Glavrybvod Federal State Budgetary Budgetary Institution in cooperation with the Government of the Kamchatka Territory with the participation of the Ministry of Fisheries and the Ministry of Digital Development of our region. I would also like to note that the service is unique not only for the Far East, but also for Russia as a whole, we implemented it on our own on the regional portal of public services,” said Nikolai Kiselyov, Minister of Digital Development of the Kamchatka Territory.
The ceremonial release of juveniles into their natural habitat is scheduled for the period from May 19 to May 29, 2025. The first event will take place on May 19 at the Malki salmon hatchery. The most active participants of the project will be invited to the graduation ceremony.
