Since the beginning of this year, over 3.5 thousand tons of fish products and feed flour have been exported from Kamchatka, the inter-regional Rosselkhoznadzor administration reported.
In the first two months of 2025, 187 shipments of fish, caviar and seafood with a total weight of about 2.7 thousand tons were processed, as well as 41 shipments of feed fish meal for 819 tons.
Fish products and flour from Kamchatka were sent to four countries: China received more than 1,9 thousand tons, the Republic of Korea — less than 1,2 thousand tons, Japan — 309,3 tons, and the Netherlands — 98,9 tons.
It is worth noting that in the previous year, the geography of fish exports from Kamchatka covered 15 countries. China was the main buyer, Japan became the second largest buyer, and the Republic of Korea took the third place.
