These businesses frequently discard commercial packaging and refuse at the municipal site without securing the mandatory solid waste disposal contracts. Consequently, the collection point repeatedly overflows and becomes overwhelmed with excess garbage.
To address these ongoing waste management violations, regional environmental authorities are evaluating the installation of video surveillance cameras at the most problematic disposal sites. This monitoring network aims to identify commercial violators – specifically non-compliant businesses – and ensure they are held fully accountable for unauthorized dumping practices.
