Mutnovsky volcano in Kamchatka will be available to visit again
Specialists of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka Network of Natural Parks have presented a new tourist route to the Mutnovskaya Sopka volcano, which has been closed to the public for several years. “Tour operators are preparing a detailed report and a track to create a new route passport. Soon, climbing Mutnovsky volcano will be available to everyone again, and the journey will become even easier and more scenic,” the institution said.
It is planned that visitors to the route will see a view of an active funnel, steaming fumaroles, thermal activity and a green lake.
The route to Mutnovsky volcano has been closed to the public for several years due to frequent seismic events that triggered rockfalls, landslides and landslides.
