According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the ship Akademik Shokalsky will be the first to sail. Its debut flight is scheduled for July 30 and will last twelve days, passing through the picturesque expanses of the Sea of Okhotsk from Sakhalin to Magadan.

A special place in the program of this trip is given to the Kamchatka Territory, where the expedition participants will be able to visit the South Kamchatka Nature Reserve. This area is known for its unique nature, including volcanoes, famous geysers and a population of brown bears. In total, the Akademik Shokalsky will make seven expedition flights this season, the routes of which will cover six different protected areas of the Far Eastern region.
