The launch of electronic auctions for the distribution of commercial fishing rights has been announced in Kamchatka. On the site of the Russian Auction House (RAD), investors are invited to purchase four fishing sites located in the Penzhinsky district of the Kamchatka Territory.
One of the most expensive lots is a plot in Penzhinskaya Bay, the initial price of which exceeds 112.8 million rubles. Two plots on the Penzhina River are also up for auction, each with an initial value of about 76 million rubles. The fourth lot is a plot on the Talovka River, with a starting price of more than 36.7 million rubles.
These territories are rich in valuable aquatic biological resources. Anadromous fish species of high commercial and commercial importance live within the boundaries of the sites: pink salmon, chum salmon, sockeye salmon, coho salmon, as well as char and Asian toothy smelt. Successful development of these resources can become the basis for a stable business.
An important condition for future users of land plots is the obligation to participate in the socio-economic development of the Kamchatka Territory. The winners of the bidding will have to conclude and faithfully implement the relevant agreement, directing part of their efforts and funds to improve life in the region.
The procedure for accepting applications for participation in the electronic auction has already begun on May 1 and will last until May 20 of this year. This provides potential investors with time to evaluate proposals and prepare the necessary documentation.
In addition, separate auctions are scheduled for May 16 for the allocation of four more sites for industrial fishing in Kamchatka. They are located in the Tigilsky municipal district, as well as in the Sobolevsky and Karaginsky districts, which indicates systematic work to involve the region’s aquatic bioresources in economic turnover.
