The inspector of the Kamchatka Nature Reserve continues photo hunting for wolves

Alexey Maslov, a wildlife photographer known not only in Kamchatka, winner of international photo contests, fulfilled his dream only once, Kamchatka.Today reports.

An inspector of the Kronotsky Nature Reserve is patrolling the vicinity of the Kronotsko-Bogachevskaya tundra. One of his fulfilled desires is to take a portrait of a wolf in Kamchatka.

He managed to do this after several years in “detention”. Alexey Maslov began the next working season at the Airfield cordon with meetings with less secretive animals.

“Now there are about five moose, one fox, up to two dozen wild reindeer, a wolverine and a couple of wolves constantly in the vicinity. Today I was walking through the tundra hoping to find traces of a wolf singing at night, and I saw a moose on the riverbank. There are no wolf tracks,” said Alexey Maslov.

Recall that at the end of March, a large lone wolf was shot in the vicinity of Petropavlovsk.
