Wild lynxes returned to Petropavlovsk in the spring
In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, in the Seroglazka microdistrict, late the night before, a large male lynx visited the courtyard of a private house, Kamchatka.Today reports.
The owner of the house on Bering Street, who filmed the graceful cat at the window, posted the video on social media. She admires the beautiful “girl”, but, according to experienced hunters, judging by the size, this is a very large male.
The wild guy, after sitting by the window for a few minutes, went to the neighbor’s yard. There were no reports of crushed chickens or other small domestic animals.
Last year Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was subjected not only to a severe attack by bears, but also to the active development of urban areas by lynxes. The predators were driven by hunger to the towns and villages of the region.
