Kamchatka Tire Recycling Campaign Reaches 46,000 Units of 61,000 Target

A used tire collection campaign is ongoing in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and the Yelizovsky district. Residents have already deposited approximately 46,000 tires out of the revised target of 61,000 units. The collection quota was recently expanded from the initial 40,000 units to accommodate the high volume of incoming material.

Collection points are operating at 1 Tundrovaya Street in Petropavlovsk and 20/1 Molodyozhnaya Street in the Novy settlement of the Yelizovsky district. The facilities are open on weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00 – with a scheduled break from 13:00 to 14:00 – and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:00. Operations are suspended on Sundays.

Participants receive 50 rubles and 50 regional bonus points per tire – subject to a limit of 5,000 points per individual. A valid passport is required to participate in the program. The facilities accept only tires from passenger vehicles and strictly prohibit rubber from heavy machinery. While there is no cap on the total number of tires an individual can submit, those depositing 15 units or fewer are granted priority service without waiting in line.
