Kamchatka poachers paid almost a million rubles in fines in a week

From January 27 to February 3, Rosrybolovstvo state inspectors identified 59 offenses in the reservoirs of the region, most of them in the Yelizovsky district, the KAMCHATKA-INFORM RAI was informed by the SVTU of the FAR.
During the raids, four fishing gear was seized from the poachers and sent for safekeeping. Violators were fined 476.7 thousand rubles, taking into account the previously issued ones, more than 976.2 thousand were recovered.
The regional department of Rosrybolovstvo noted that eight operational groups are catching poachers in the region’s water bodies.
