Ecological festival “Global Warming” will be held in Kamchatka
The ecological festival “Global Warming” will be held from February 1 to February 28 in Kamchatka, the KAMCHATKA-INFORM agency reports with reference to the organizers – SPA Hotel Laguna.
“The Kamchatka Territory, like other regions of our country, has been noticing climate change in recent years. Some regions are covered with snow, while Kamchatka suffers from complete lack of snow. We are all afraid of global warming – climate change, melting glaciers, extreme temperatures, and wildfires. But perhaps warming is what our hearts need, and then we won’t offend a defenseless animal, cut down a century–old fir tree, or throw garbage by the wayside. The main goal of the eco–festival is to make our hearts a little warmer, and to understand what we can do to protect the nature of our native land,” the organizers said in a statement.
The festival program will consist of the regional drawing contest “Global Warming” (dates are from February 1 to February 28) and events held every weekend at the Laguna SPA Hotel.
