Poachers in Kamchatka caught salmon in five criminal cases in a week
Rosrybolovstvo employees identified 115 offenses in the reservoirs of the region from July 14 to July 21, reported Kamchatka.Today in SVTU FAR.
During the raids, 251 kilograms of illegally caught fish, 38 fishing gear and 17 vehicles were seized from poachers.
Violators were fined 230.7 thousand rubles, and 234.7 thousand rubles were collected, taking into account previously issued fines. Materials on five episodes have been sent to law enforcement agencies for making decisions on initiating criminal cases.
The regional department of Rosrybolovstvo noted that 21 operational groups are catching poachers in the region’s water bodies, and 35 stationary posts have been set up.
