Seals in Kamchatka greet tourists in a friendly way
On Saturday, July 5, seals (most likely largs) occupied the waters of the former Freza shipyard in the center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. One or two animals are on “watch” here all the time, but six of them at once are rare, the correspondent of Kamchatka.Today reports.
Perhaps they just missed the tourists and decided to visit themselves. But the version that some small fish entered the bucket looks more plausible. Moreover, seagulls are also actively catching something.
By the way, according to the captains of pleasure boats and according to the observations of the agency’s “marine” correspondent, there are quite a lot of seals in the Prigorodsky water area now. They lie in a crowd on the rocks near the island of Starichkov and constantly patrol the water area in search of small fish.
