In a nature reserve in Kamchatka, a bear cub’s last kiss with its mother was captured in the frame
A touching scene of bear family relations was captured by a camera trap near the Travyanaya cordon in the South Kamchatka Federal Reserve, the Kronotsky Reserve told Kamchatka.Today.
The automatic camera on the shore of Kuril Lake was installed by state inspector Liana Varavskaya, who has been watching her club-footed neighbors for many years.
“I saw this family a couple of times near the cordon. A bear with two Tretyak cubs, meaning this is the third summer in their lives, peacefully walked along the electrical fence, which ensures the safety of employees and visitors. Very soon, these cubs will become independent. May-June is the time of the collapse of bear families. In the picture, the bear cub bit his mother’s fur. This is what many mammals do, showing their affection and sympathy, as it is called in humans. Perhaps this is their last photo together,” said Liana.
