Illegal taps into sewage disposal system are eliminated in Petropavlovsk
All illegal taps into the drainage system in the area of Kultuchny Lake in the center of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky will be eliminated in the near future, Kamchatka.Today reports, citing a message from the city administration.
A survey of real estate and non-residential stock has been completed to identify illegal tie-ins and the technical condition of the house, courtyard, and storm sewers in the Lake Kultuchnoye basin. 335 wells and 12,797 meters of storm sewers were examined.
As a result of the survey, illegal tapping of presumably household sewage into storm sewers in 10 wells was discovered.:
K-4 – Mirrornaya St. (near Vladivostok St., 22);
K-22 – Zerkalnaya St. (next to Vladivostok St., 18);
K-12 – Klyuchevskaya St., 37;
K-4 – Leningradskaya St., 71, at the entrance of the former Avacha restaurant;
K-21 – Leningradskaya St., near the Avacha Hotel;
K-64 – Leningradskaya St. (near the parking lot between buildings No. 27 and 31);
K-66 – Leningradskaya St., 25 (at the fire station);
K-69 – Leningradskaya St., 17 (near the hotel under construction);
K-8 – in the district of house No. 18 on the Embankment street;
K-14 in the district of building No. 30 on the Embankment street.
Currently, the Petropavlovsk Highway Service is holding a competition to select a contractor to carry out work to eliminate illegal taps in the storm drain. It is planned that these works will take place in the near future.
