In the first quarter of this year, gold production in the Kamchatka Territory decreased by 20.4% compared to the same period last year. From January to March 2025, 1,884 kg of precious metals were mined in the region. This was reported in the regional Ministry of Natural Resources.
Amethystovoe JSC, TSG Asacha JSC, Kamchatka Gold JSC (Highland Gold) and SiGMA JSC (Golden Asset LLC) are engaged in gold mining in Kamchatka. TSG Asacha reduced gold production by 52%, Amethyst Gold – by 4%, Kamchatka Gold reduced production by 28.5%.
Earlier it was reported that in the Kamchatka Territory, by the end of 2024, the volume of gold production amounted to 11,128 kg of gold, an increase of 14.7% compared to 2023. Of these, 11,058 kg was produced by precious metal mining, which was carried out by TSG Asacha JSC, Amethystovoe JSC, Kamchatka Gold JSC and SiGMA JSC. SiGMA increased the result by 45.8%, Kamchatka Gold — by 32.2%, and TSG Asacha — by 6.6%. At the same time, Amethyst reported a 16% decrease in production results.
Placer production in the Kamchatka Territory is small, 70 kg over the past year (an increase of 24.2% compared to 2023). It is carried out by LLC “Kamchatnedra” and LLC “Dalstroy”.
