Inspectors of the nature park checked tourists at the Vilyuchinsky waterfall
Inspectors of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka network of natural parks and employees of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology conducted a preventive raid in the Vilyuchinsky Nature Park, Kamchatka.Today reports.
According to the environmental protection agency, its goal is to ensure a special protection regime on the Vilyuchinsky Waterfall route.
During the raid, tourists were checked for permits to visit a specially protected natural area. In addition, travelers were instructed on safety measures, with an emphasis on the potential collapse of ice formations in the waterfall area and the need to maintain a safe distance.
The inspectors also checked the Avachinsky pass in the area of the Lava Pad, located on the border with the Nalychevo Nature Park. No violations of environmental legislation have been identified.
The park network administration noted that passage through the Lava Pit is not prohibited. However, prior approval is required for travel.
