Local residents gathered in the Primorsky residential district of Vilyuchinsk to clear waste near the civilian pier. For more than two decades, the Clean Shore campaign was organized solely by the local House of Children’s Creativity. The initiative transitioned into a municipal event last year, and the current edition expanded to the Primorsky district following requests from citizens.
The environmental operation mobilized over 100 participants – including educators, kindergarteners, and secondary school students. Parents of the students also actively assisted in the cleanup efforts. The collective initiative resulted in the removal of several dozen kilograms of coastal waste.
The coastal restoration efforts remain ongoing, with another cleanup scheduled to take place in the Rybachy residential district later this week.
