Residents of the village of Pakhachi in Kamchatka should recalculate the payment for salt water
The regional department of Rospotrebnadzor commented on the situation in the village of Pahachi in the Olyutorsky district, where salty sea water came out of the taps, reports RAI KAMCHATKA-INFORM.
The incident occurred on January 13. Due to the strong tide, the sea water level in the river rose and it got into a pumping facility that provides water to the population.
Rospotrebnadzor reported that a warning was issued to the resource-supplying organization about the inadmissibility of violations of the requirements of sanitary legislation.
In addition, the company is obliged to recalculate the amount of the utility fee in the direction of its reduction until it is completely exempt from payment. At the same time, consumers have the right to demand payment of penalties (fines, penalties).
Pahachi is located at the confluence of the Pahacha River into the Olyutorsky Bay. About 260 people live in the village.
