Three more initiators of investment projects can join existing residents. Taking them into account, the volume of capital investments in the enterprises being created will exceed 3.8 billion rubles.
At a meeting of the Commission for State Support of Investment Projects in the Kamchatka Territory, held in the last days of the outgoing year, the work of which is led by the Chairman of the Regional Government Evgeny Chekin, the issue of amending the large-scale investment project of the Kamchatka Territory «Creation and development of the industrial park «Far» was considered. The implementation of the business initiative is entrusted to the KRKK.
Alexander Cheklov, director of the economic analysis and forecasting service of the Kamchatka Development Corporation, who made a presentation, informed the meeting participants about the current state of the industrial park (PP). To date, a register of residents of «Far» has been formed. Nine agreements have been concluded with them on the conduct of industrial activities on the territory of the PP. Residents mainly intend to create enterprises operating in the production of building materials, as well as engaged in the deep processing of organic waste and raw materials.
Three more initiators of investment projects can join existing residents. Taking them into account, the volume of capital investments in the enterprises being created will exceed 3.8 billion rubles. According to business plans for investment projects, it is planned to create more than 340 jobs.
Alexander Cheklov also said that in 2025 it is planned to develop design documentation for a complex of PP engineering infrastructure facilities. Completion of this work will make it possible to send an application to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade to obtain «Far» status «industrial park» at the federal level, which will open up additional opportunities for the development of PP.
«The need to make changes to a large-scale investment project «The creation and development of the «Far» industrial park is caused by the need to include additional land plots to accommodate another enterprise, – said Alexander Mylnikov, General Director of the Kamchatka Development Corporation. – In September 2023, at the Eastern Economic Forum, the Regional Government signed an agreement with the company «Russian environmental operator» on the formation of a comprehensive system for managing municipal solid waste in the region. The agreement provides for consciousness using the mechanisms of concession agreements of the enterprise for the disposal, neutralization and placement of MSW. Production is scheduled to be launched on the territory of «Far» using energy and transport infrastructure created for residents of the industrial park».
Members of the Commission for State Support of Investment Projects in the region unanimously voted for the KRKK proposal, taking into account the comments of the administration of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The regional center considers it necessary to provide in the design documentation of the «Far» industrial park the formation of a «sanitary protection zone or the implementation of sanitary protection measures that will reduce the impact of pollution on the atmospheric air within the boundaries of the planned territory of low-rise residential development».
The decision of the State Support Commission will come into force after the issuance of the corresponding order by the head of the region, Vladimir Solodov.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Regional Government Evgeny Chekin presented letters of gratitude from Vladimir Solodov to the director of the center for supporting investment projects of the KRKK Inna Masenkova, Advisor to the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government Elizaveta Varlamkina and the head of the investment policy department of the Ministry of Economic Development of the region Dmitry Butenko.
