Kamchatka minister mocked the “speed” of the rescue of belugas
On the eve there were reports about the rescue of a family of beluga whales by Kamchatka fishermen, which amused the regional Minister of Emergency Situations Sergey Lebedev, Kamchatka.Today reports.
“Hurrah! Scientists have finally invented a time machine. But she’s probably only going backwards so far. Again, we are “saving” belugas, which were already saved 2 years ago. Several channels in TG have published information that is outdated, to put it mildly. There was a situation, there is no dispute, but 2 years ago,” the minister wrote on his social media page.
Let us remind you that a family of belugas was saved, indeed, in August 2023. There was another rescue operation. In October 2024, Kamchatka residents released a family of killer whales from shallow-water captivity near the village of Ustyovoye in the Sobolevsky district.
