The fish terminal in Kamchatka is planned to be commissioned in October.

The reconstruction of the terminal for the integrated maintenance of fishing fleet vessels in Kamchatka is scheduled to be completed in October 2025. The regional construction company SK Vertical LLC is engaged in the work.

This is reported by Fishnews with reference to the EIS “Procurement”. The contract value is 194 million rubles. The customer of the reconstruction is the National Fish Resource. According to the schedule, the start of dredging work at a cost of 14 million rubles is scheduled for July.

Reconstruction of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky marine terminal has been underway since 2017. The deadline for the completion of the facility has been postponed several times. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport is located in the deep-water Avacha Bay. It is international and navigation is open all year round. Transport links to the ports of Primorye (Vladivostok) and Sakhalin (Korsakov), as well as to the northern ports of Russia, pass through this point.

The fish terminal is located in the village of Avacha in the city limits. According to the terms of the auction, the contractor needs to carry out dredging, arrange foundations on three berths, and install a noise shield structure. The volume must be completed by October 8, 2025.
