Rybvoda (Water resources department) inspectors caught 27 fishing violators during the New Year holidays in Kamchatka.
From January 1 to January 13, fish inspectors revealed 27 offenses in the water bodies of the region, reported the Water Resource inspection.
Four fishing gears were seized from poachers during the raids. Violators were fined 6 thousand rubles.
The regional department of Rosrybolovstvo noted that eight operational groups are working to counter illegal fishing in the region’s waters.
