A shift of unats opened at the site of the Ecosystem Youth Center in Kamchatka
The change of young naturalists and tourists takes place on the basis of the Ecosystem youth center in Kamchatka all year round, and activists of the regional branch of the movement of children and youth “Movement of the First” from different municipalities of the peninsula have become its participants, the press service of the tourist cluster “Three Volcanoes Park” told RIA KAMCHATKA-INFORM.
In the early days, the shift participants met with representatives of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka Nature Park and attended the Yunnatskaya Strana installation session, where the children were told about the movement of young naturalists. The children were particularly interested in meeting with representatives of the Three Volcanoes Park company, which is implementing a project in Kamchatka to create a modern multifunctional tourist and recreational complex. The participants of the meeting were interested in the issues of ensuring safety in the territory of the future resort – in case of possible earthquakes, wild animals escaping. As well as the level of environmental impact and measures aimed at minimizing the negative impact of the increasing anthropogenic load.
Evelina Pisklova, a spokeswoman for the Three Volcanoes Park, told the young environmentalists that the most important task of the project team is to create an approach to managing the territory in which the natural beauty remains intact. And when designing the buildings and structures of the Sopka Goryachaya resort, the central part of the Three Volcanoes Park project, not only the level of seismic activity was taken into account, but also the quality of the materials to be used during construction. The company’s representative noted that the Sopka Goryachaya resort project has been awarded the gold environmental safety certificate of the Green Zoom national environmental standard.
The extensive shift program is aimed at developing the interest of children and youth in nature and science, popularizing outdoor activities and fostering respect for the environment. In addition to the educational sessions, a regional tourist rally will be held during the shift. Its participants will enjoy hiking along scenic tourist routes and other activities.
